Save with Plug-In Electric Vehicle (PEV) Rate

Our Plug-In Electric Vehicle (PEV) rate offers a reduced electric rate to customers with a plug-in electric vehicle (EV). This rate is designed to reward you for helping to better balance demand on the electric grid. To enroll in this rate, you must have a plug-in electric or hybrid vehicle that is charged at your home. The PEV rate can be applied to your whole home, or a separate meter installed for EV charging load. Details of the different tariff options are described below:

The PEV Tariff is ONLY available if you have an AMI (smart) meter. Learn more about smart meters.
If you would like to enroll in a separately metered service, and do not have two electric meters at your home, please submit a request to modify your home's service.
