COLUMBUS, Ohio, Sept. 5, 2013 – American Electric Power (NYSE: AEP) has scheduled a live audio webcast of a presentation by Brian X. Tierney, AEP executive vice president and chief financial officer, at the Barclays Capital CEO Energy-Power Conference in New York on Sept. 12.

The presentation, to an audience of investors, will begin at 2:25 p.m. EDT and can be accessed through the Internet at http://www.aep.com/webcasts. The webcast also will be available after the live event.

During the conference, AEP will reaffirm its 2013 operating earnings guidance of $3.05 to $3.25 per share.
